Find Out What Salt Can Do For You

Salt has always been thought of as a tasteless substance. It may look like pure table salt and can even be described as having a pleasant salty taste. But this is only the surface of the true tastes of sea salt.

Sea salt can actually help you achieve a number of health benefits, but it is not only about maintaining a healthy state of mind. You’ll find that salt can benefit your body in many different ways. So how exactly does sea salt help?

The ability to feel good about yourself and your life is one of the most important benefits of salt. Although it’s still mostly believed that sea salt will make you healthier, there is evidence that salt can actually do a number of things to help you achieve good health. Some of these benefits include lowering your blood pressure, lowering your cholesterol levels, and helping your immune system work better. You can even see some evidence that the nutrients in sea salt have shown to decrease the signs of aging.

The main reason why sea salt is so popular is because it is a natural ingredient in most popular recipes. We find sea salt used in many recipes at every kitchen in America. Although it is still considered natural salt, it is now also known as refined salt. Refined salt can actually contain a lot of additives that could negatively affect your health.

You may have heard about the chemicals that can be found in it, such as sodium chloride, potassium chloride, and magnesium chloride. These chemicals are also present in processed table salt. https://twitter.com/saltsworldwide/ is a highly processed product because it is basically crushed into cubes and mixed with other ingredients. It goes through a number of steps that alter the salt to become a form that is less healthy.

So the next time you want to cook a dish using table salt, just look for an alternative that has been processed. Donot be fooled by the name. You can be eating a safe product and still reap many of the benefits of sea salt. The artificial additives found in processed salt are not good for your health.

Even though you may find sea salt appealing, it is better to look for other forms of salt. Your health will thank you for it. You might even get a few more things done in the kitchen.

Introduce Yourself (Example Post)

This is an example post, originally published as part of Blogging University. Enroll in one of our ten programs, and start your blog right.

You’re going to publish a post today. Don’t worry about how your blog looks. Don’t worry if you haven’t given it a name yet, or you’re feeling overwhelmed. Just click the “New Post” button, and tell us why you’re here.

Why do this?

  • Because it gives new readers context. What are you about? Why should they read your blog?
  • Because it will help you focus you own ideas about your blog and what you’d like to do with it.

The post can be short or long, a personal intro to your life or a bloggy mission statement, a manifesto for the future or a simple outline of your the types of things you hope to publish.

To help you get started, here are a few questions:

  • Why are you blogging publicly, rather than keeping a personal journal?
  • What topics do you think you’ll write about?
  • Who would you love to connect with via your blog?
  • If you blog successfully throughout the next year, what would you hope to have accomplished?

You’re not locked into any of this; one of the wonderful things about blogs is how they constantly evolve as we learn, grow, and interact with one another — but it’s good to know where and why you started, and articulating your goals may just give you a few other post ideas.

Can’t think how to get started? Just write the first thing that pops into your head. Anne Lamott, author of a book on writing we love, says that you need to give yourself permission to write a “crappy first draft”. Anne makes a great point — just start writing, and worry about editing it later.

When you’re ready to publish, give your post three to five tags that describe your blog’s focus — writing, photography, fiction, parenting, food, cars, movies, sports, whatever. These tags will help others who care about your topics find you in the Reader. Make sure one of the tags is “zerotohero,” so other new bloggers can find you, too.
